Quercetin is a powerful iron-binding agent; a powerful antioxidant and supports a healthy histamine response. It is a flavone that inhibits mast cells, which are activated with a histamine or allergic response. Quercetin supports a healthy inflammatory response and is known to work synergistically with bromelain, Vit C, bioflavonoids and magnesium. It is also a strong anti-cancer compound that I see very frequently on RGCC testing so I love adding this protective component to people’s lives. It also supports heart health and is a natural anti-viral. One article I have says, “there isn’t much this powerful antioxidant compound can’t do, especially when combined with the health benefits of bromelain, an anti-inflammatory enzyme.” We continue to offer this powerful combination of Quercetin (200 mg) with Bromelain (see below).

The Colostrum is another source of lactoferrin and is 40% IgG. This is a great value and provides a very high iron-binding potential. In addition to binding iron, it is a wonderful immune support and gut aid. It also has anti-inflammatory benefits / is a natural antimicrobial / improves metabolism / and from some sources, fights against cancer. It also acts as a prebiotic; strengthens the immune system and supports a healthy lymphatic system. The serving size contains 300 mg.

The Bromelain is sourced from the fruit, not the stem – which is important. It is an enzyme which supports assimilation and also provides anti-allergy support / provides Vit C / B1 / manganese / other phytonutrients. It’s also has wonderful anti-inflammatory properties (and iron overload is a HUGE inflammation producer) + fibrinolytic / anti-edematous and anti-thrombotic. One article I read in researching bromelain said it is great to help relax and sooth tense / inflamed muscles and it’s a powerful enzyme to have on board. This same Dr. Axe article lists it as an aid for connective tissue injuries, tendonitis, joint pain / inflammation, digestive issues such as heartburn and diarrhea, cardiovascular disorders, asthma, autoimmune diseases, sinus / lung inflammation, slow healing wounds / burns, and better digestive absorption. Studies show it has natural anti-cancer effects, fights allergies and asthma, aids with digestion, helps to prevent / treat sinus infections, helps decrease joint pain, and may even support weight loss! Potassium bicarbonate is included to aid the entry of the other synergistic ingredients for access to the cell. For so many, maintaining their potassium levels is a far greater challenge than maintaining sodium.  This mineral is crucial for healthy muscular function / digestive function / increase energy / support heart function and rhyme / improves bone health  / lowers inflammation / because of it’s alkalinity, it is of benefit to help neutralize excess acid and one source said it can reduce uric acid and help to dissolve uric acid kidney stones and also positively impact gout development. Caution – those with kidney disease should use potassium bicarbonate only under a doctor’s supervision. Also, if someone is using a potassium sparing diuretic (Spironalactone and Amiloride), use with supervision and limit to 1 capsule per day.
